i4 Product Design delivers innovative design solutions to some of the world’s leading brands, from market leading gardening tools to cutting edge and sight saving diagnostic ophthalmic equipment. The business with 4 directors and 9 staff. the company has had steady growth and repeat blue chip clients. At the core of the company is its design process – from conceptualization of design solutions, through to tooling and process development for manufacture.
i4 faced a number of internal and external challenges to consolidate and sustain growth. Business Pointer was appointed in 2010 to work with the top team to support them address these challenges, through a Marketing, Sales and Business Development plan.
Integral to i4’s future growth was the need to look at current systems and marketing and sales processes. Included in the Business Pointer project was the scale of the market, market trends, opportunities, existing relationships with clients and how to manage these in the future.
Business Pointer’s Sue Ireland continues to provide board support to the Directors to ensure the drive for sales, client account management and financial sustainability are assimilated into the business, while providing hands on support to consistently review performance against strategic objectives.
